My family and I moved to the DR to serve in a school that was standing in the educational gap that is found in the Dominican Republic. We came in 2013 from Austin, TX to stay for one year--we haven't left yet. I consider it a privilege to be a part of the educational solution--the beauty of this country doesn't hurt either. God has been amazingly faithful to our family in providing what we need to continue to serving at Doulos. We have three children who all attend Doulos.
The work of Doulos is important because:
The work is eternal.
Hobby or fun fact:
If I weren't a teacher, I would like to be a Bible translator.
